18 year old De Col is the 2011 ISA Jr. World Champion

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (August 8, 2011) –Cristobal De Col (Peru), winner of the 2011 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship and Quiksilver Pro Team member, will compete in the Quiksilver Pro New York ASP World Tour Trials, presented by UnSound Surf, supported by vitaminwater, for a chance to surf against the world’s best during the WCT event.

Encinitas, California (June 15, 2011) – Pro surfer, photographer and artist, Kassia Meador, renews her partnership with Roxy, adding the title of designer to her list of talents. The 28-year-old California girl has been an integral part of both women's surfing and the Roxy brand's growth since she was 17-years-old. Kassia will now be both a Roxy ambassador to women's surfing, while also officially lending her k*meador designs to their wetsuits and streetwear collection.



Cristobal de Col Wins GOLD at the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Chmpionship

De Col's win secures the overall Team Gold for Peru

Encinitas, California (May 31, 2011) – Peruvian Cristobal de Col wins Gold at the 2011 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship Presented by Movistar held over the weekend in Punta Hermosa near Lima, Peru. The 17-year-old’s win propelled the Peruvian team to an overall team gold, breaking the Australian junior team’s five-year run.



Chippa Wilson Wins Air Show at VQS Championships

Encinitas, California (May 17, 2011) - Admidst heavy metal, spandex, and rocker hair, Australian Chippa Wilson made spectators take notice in Newport Beach, California during the Air Show at Volcom's "Totally Twisted Crustaceans of Metal" VQS World Championships. In tough wind-blown conditions, the 23-year-old found some low tide ramps and consistently landed fully rotated airs and pop shove-its at 54th Street. Chippa got a warm welcome from California this weekend with his win and $2,000 in prize money.



Greg Bretz Podiums at Grand Prix of Snowboarding in Hometown

Encinitas, California (March 7, 2011) – Greg Bretz finished up the Sprint U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix series with a second place podium finish in front of an enthusiastic hometown crowd at Mammoth Mountain this past weekend. Last year, strong showings at Grand Prix events landed Bretz on the 2010 U.S. Snowboard Olympic Halfpipe team. This is the 20-year-old’s second halfpipe podium placing in the last month.

Team Peru wins GOLD at the Billabong ISA World Surfing Games Villaran, Mulanovich and de Col lead Peru to the big win in front of the home crowd

Encinitas, California (October 28, 2010) – Peruvians Gabriel Villaran, Sofia Mulanovich and Cristobal de Col took home gold at the Billabong ISA World Surfing Games presented by Amarok of Volkswagon held over the weekend in Punta Hermosa near Lima, Peru. This is the first ISA gold for Peru since Felipe Pomar’s individual win at the 1965 World Championships.
